Ship in the Ice is now frozen in
The beginning of the winter season has been very good. Cold weather and drift ice from the east coast has caused the Temple fjord to freeze early this year. The Ship in the Ice is now well frozen in, with 40 cm of thick ice around the boat. We have started both day trips and overnight trips to the Ship in the Ice. Not only do we have plenty of ice in the Temple fjord, but other fjords, like Green fjord on the way to Isfjord Radio, are also well frozen.
