Sindre Kolstø
Sindre is driven by communicating the Arctic ecosystem to visitors.
– It is exciting to have such a unique, demanding and not least beautiful landscape as a field of work, and to be able to take guests out into all this, Sindre believes.
He is originally a city boy, born and raised in Asker, and has studied visual effects for film in Oslo. But from early childhood, Sindre was taken out into nature, and together with his father he explored the wilderness. The urge to spend even more time outside led to film effects studies being replaced with education in outdoor life and nature guidance in Alta. Sindre will complete his bachelor’s degree in 2023.
In addition, Sindre has attended ANG (Arctic Nature Guide) in Svalbard, and had an internship with us in the spring of 2022. It worked so well that he continued as a guide and boat driver through the summer season. Throughout the winter, he ensures that our guests get to experience the unique landscape on the snowmobile to Nordenskiöld Lodge and Isfjord Radio Adventure Hotel.
